At Lockyer District High School, Humanities students engage with a wide range of topics and ideas within and across the subjects of Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, Geography and History – ancient and modern. Our programs, underpinned by the Australian Curriculum, are designed for students to develop research and reference skills, a rational and logical argument, evidenced based analytical skills, to respect and acknowledge differing perspectives, organisation, planning and time management skills, persistence and resilience, clear and concise communication skills.
