Formal Wednesday

All students are required to wear formal uniform every Wednesday

LDHS School Uniform Specifications
Education Queensland has a policy in respect to School Dress Standards for students.  Lockyer District High School, through its P&C Association, abides by that policy and has adopted those guidelines, as the basis for our uniform policy.
Lockyer District High School is a full uniform school Uniforms provide students with safety and a sense of belonging to their school community.  Students can demonstrate pride and respect in their school through the appropriate wearing of the uniform.
Personal Appearance
Students must be clean, neat and tidy at all times. Personal hygiene is a very important consideration for each student and will be encouraged by the school. Students may bring roll on deodorants to school for their personal use. Aerosol deodorant cans are not permitted. Hair should be clean and well groomed in a neat and appropriate style. Long hair should be appropriately managed as required in some practical subject areas.
Formal and Sports Uniform
Students are required to wear their formal uniform unless they have specific physical activities or sport on a given day.  They are expected to wear their formal uniform on school outings, official school functions and when representing the school.  Boys are expected to wear their formal shirts tucked in at all times.  Students are to remove caps before entering a room.  Rugger shorts are not an acceptable clothing item.  Bottle green, unisex Canterbury shorts is the acceptable uniform requirement.
