The Musical is a Roaring Success!

The 2013 Lockyer District High School Musical  has been a roaring success. With large numbers attending each performance, the outcome couldn’t have been any better.

The cast, crew and volunteers made it a night to remember.  Students from Grade 8 through to Grade 12 participated enthusiastically, with everyone putting in a huge effort to make the show a success.

“I’m sorry the bridge is out, you’ll have to spend the night” follows the night of John and Mary-Ellen’s unpredictable stay at a spooky castle full of supernatural creations. The main characters began the show with their arrival at a spooky castle after an unfortunate car breakdown. From the moment John and Mary-Ellen stepped foot in the castle, the audience were mesmerised by the unexpected twists and turns they experienced throughout the ensuing show.

Full of outstanding performances from actors, dancers and singers, along with memorable musical numbers and plenty of laughs, the musical truly has been a fantastic experience for all to remember.

A tremendous thank you to Mrs Mortenson for directing and the many other teachers, students and volunteers who helped make this musical spectacular.
