Lockdown - Monday 15th September

As you would no doubt be aware, students and staff at Lockyer District High School participated in an extended lockdown during Period 6 and into the second break today, Monday 15th September 2014.
The lockdown was purely precautionary and no student or staff member was at risk at any time. The Administration Team at LDHS would like to thank all students and staff for their patience and diligence during the lockdown.
If you have any further question or concerns about the lockdown today, please do not hesitate to contact the Principal on 07 5466 2333.
We would urge all parents to speak about the incident with their children this evening, and any students who show signs of distress should be referred to your preferred medical support, or to the school Guidance Officer who will be available at school this week.
Please find attached a copy of the letter sent home to all families today, with students.
