LDHS Costume Day

On Tuesday, 30th of July, our school held a Costume Day. Along with staff members, Year 8 and 9 students had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book characters or mathematicians for Literacy and Numeracy week.

There were two prizes to be won on the day; the first was for the most creative costume and the second was for the most convincing. The winner for most convincing was a Year 8 boy who dressed up as Charlie Chaplin and the winners for the most creative was a group of three Year 8 girls who had dressed up as the Three Blind Mice. The overall outcome of the event was astounding with so many students from Year 8, 9 and a large group of staff all dressing up in their creative costumes.

We would like to thank all participants for their great efforts. We look forward for this event next year and would love for even more people to dress up.
