Care goes Gigantic!

18/10/2013

Miss Leo and Miss Lauridson have been aiming for a while to make their CARE classes more enjoyable for students, and they have succeeded! Since the middle of Term 3, they have been going outside to play gigantic board games.

Some of the more popular activities that have been played in their classes include a giant game of Snakes and Ladders, a giant game of Guess Who and an obstacle course.

These activities have helped to improve the students’ teamwork and relationship skills. In competing against each other in major games and working together to win events, students and teachers have been helped in many different ways.

After speaking with Miss Leo and Miss Lauridsen, we found out that their students preferred to be outside playing these activities rather than sitting in a classroom. The teachers agreed that any program involving everyone working to achieve something is a positive one.

All other teachers and their classes are more than welcome to join in on the fun. It is great for both students and teachers, so get your CARE class involved today!
