ANZAC Day 2013

ANZAC DAY, the 25th of April, is a day when we are all able to remember the sacrifice of all Australians who have served and are currently serving in overseas wars and conflicts.

We held our ANZAC Day service at school the day before ANZAC Day.  This year two services were held. The senior service was organised and presented by Year 10 boys and the junior service by Year 9 boys.

Lockyer District High School participated in Gatton’s ANZAC Day Service too.  Many students proudly represented Lockyer by marching to the Weeping Mother’s Memorial where the annual service was held.

Many thanks go to the teachers and students who gave up a few hours for this very important day.

Lest We Forget.
